Specimen Details

Both beautiful and graceful, Bamboo palms are medium green palms. This Large size comes in a 10" grow pot and is usually about 3' tall.

Light Requirement

These bamboos require good filtered light, but cannot take direct sun.

Water

Keep the bamboo moist but not wet. Over watering will cause the tips to turn yellow, and leaves will start to fall.

Designer Advice

This palm comes in a 10" grow pot and is a small floor plant. It's a nice choice for next to a reading chair in a bedroom or sunroom. It also is attractive when used as a pair on each side of piece of furniture, such as a console table in a hallway. For a more contemporary setting, they look great in a tall container, as featured in the second image: Barcelona - Silver.
