Among the faster growing cactus, this African Milk Tree will also develop small leaves when given a tad more water. Because of their more difficult, "prickly" shipping requirements, they come in a higher price range. However, if you are looking for a plant that can live forever and rarely gives trouble, this cactus is a wise purchase.

Light Requirement

Cactus in general require a high light level. They need to be placed in a bright room, preferably next to a sunny window.

Keep this cactus on the dry side and water it once a month or less.
